The 2024 Delivery Partner Awards are here to recognise and celebrate the remarkable achievements, best practices, and dedication within our Delivery Partnership. These awards honour those who go above and beyond in embodying our values and the principles set forth in the Delivery Partner Charter.
Nomination Categories
These awards are open to every Delivery Partner, regardless of size. Partners can nominate themselves, their staff, or their volunteers. Members of the public are also welcome to nominate a Delivery Partner, team member, or volunteer who stands out in their community.
The Award Categories:
Quality Experience Award
This award honours a Delivery Partner who has provided outstanding paddlesport experiences, introduced innovative products, achieved impressive performance results, or created new and exciting paddling opportunities.

Every Person Matters Award
This category celebrates Delivery Partners or individuals who prioritize the well-being and growth of their teams, fostering a supportive environment that enhances both work-life balance and personal development.

Engagement Award
Recognising an individual or Delivery Partner dedicated to connecting diverse communities with paddlesport, this award celebrates outreach efforts that bring paddling to those who wouldn’t otherwise have access. Examples include working with community groups, promoting independence among paddlers, or implementing initiatives like the BCAB Paddle Awards or Big Paddle Clean Ups.

Committed to the Environment Award
Celebrating champions of environmental care, this award is given to those who have positively impacted environmental issues, advocated for paddler access, or gone above and beyond to protect and enhance our natural surroundings.

Submit Your Nomination
Nominations are open from 1st November to 30th November 2024. Community members are encouraged to submit as many nominations as they like for each award category. To nominate, simply complete the online form via the link provided below:
After nominations close, a panel of representatives from each National Association and an independent member will review and vote on the finalists for each category.
The winners of the 2024 Delivery Partner Awards will be proudly announced on 23rd January 2025 during the virtual Delivery Partner Conference launch. Let’s come together to honour those who make a difference, inspire others, and champion paddlesport in our communities.

BCAB enhances learning opportunities for the Level 4 Performance Coach Award In line with BCAB's commitment to providing an accessible and supportive learning experience, a comprehensive review of the Level 4 Performance Coach Award was carried out in early 2024. BCAB is delighted to share some changes that will be implemented to ensure the programme is both accessible and supportive. These changes will be live from 3rd January 2025.
Autumn has swept in, and we can look forward to some exciting trips on our diverse rivers. We generally associate autumn and winter with higher water levels and that gives us the greatest opportunities to test our skills. However, as paddlers, it's essential to recognise that we share these rivers with an array of wildlife, including migratory fish such as salmon and seatrout, which are particularly vulnerable during this time of year. Understanding how to paddle responsibly and avoid disturbing these species during their critical breeding season is key to preserving their fragile populations.
